This 4th grade male student was found dead in the function room of Dai Ban Primary School this morning.

Mr. Le Van Cuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Duong district, Hai Phong city, confirmed that a primary school student had just died at school in Dai Ban commune.

According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on October 12, during recess, Bui Van Th. (9 years old, a student of class 4D at Dai Ban Primary School) entered the function room (a room with equipment for school activities). Then Th. fell, hit his head on the ground and died.

In response to a source claiming that Th. died from electric shock, Mr. Cuong said he could not confirm this even though there was an electrical system in the room.

"Currently, Hai Phong City Police, An Duong District Police and related functional units are organizing a forensic examination to find the cause of Th's death." - Mr. Cuong said.
