17 projects using cranes in violation of regulations suspended

(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City People's Committee has just issued a decision to suspend construction of a project that violates urban construction order. The main reason is that the investors used tower cranes in violation of regulations.

Specifically, through inspection of 21 construction projects using cranes in the city, the Vinh City Urban Management Department discovered 17 projects in violation. The main fault was that the investor used a tower crane extending beyond the project site, affecting the residential community. Notably, some projects extended into very dangerous areas such as schools in Hung Binh Ward, hotels, oriental medicine clinics, etc.

Illegal construction belongs to Bao Son Construction and Tourism Group Joint Stock Company on Nguyen Phong Sac Street in Hung Phuc Ward.

In which, the most is Hung Binh Ward with 5 projects belonging to Trung Duc Construction Joint Stock Company, Thanh Vinh Investment, Construction, Production and Trade Joint Stock Company, Bao Son Construction and Tourism Group, Sao Nghe Joint Stock Company, Gia Pham Investment and Trade Company Limited.

Next, there are 4 wards with 2 projects including: Quan Bau Ward with 2 projects belonging to Kim Thi Real Estate Joint Stock Company; 9.1 Construction Joint Stock Company; Quang Trung Ward including T & T Investment Joint Stock Company, Quang Trung Petroleum Urban Investment Joint Stock Company; Truong Thi Ward including: Kim Truong Thi Joint Stock Company and Tecco Central Joint Stock Company. Le Loi Ward including: Vinh Urban Development Joint Stock Company, Tecco Central Joint Stock Company.

Decision to suspend construction of the City Urban Management Department

In Hung Dung, Hung Phuc, Nghi Phu, and Ha Huy Tap wards, each ward has one project belonging to Bao Son Construction and Tourism Group Joint Stock Company, Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Housing Investment and Development Joint Stock Company No. 30, and Huy Hung General Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company.

To handle the above violations, Vinh City People's Committee has requested the tower crane to be dismantled within 10 days or it will be forcibly removed. The chairmen of localities with violating construction works are responsible for assigning forces to prohibit vehicles carrying materials, supplies and workers from entering the construction site.

Continued construction of the project will be considered after the completion of the dismantling of the offending tower crane.
