According to the direction of the City Party Secretary, relevant units "must consider each tree one by one with the spirit of minimizing the removal of planted trees. The core issue is to harmoniously combine the inheritance of the old and existing with editing and innovation."
The City Party Secretary commented: "The method and manner of implementing the recent tree replacement was hasty and simple."
More specifically, the Secretary of the City Party Committee directed: If it is determined that the soapberry tree is not suitable for planting on urban roads, then from now on, we will not plant soapberry trees anymore. If it is necessary to remove them, we will only remove trees that are at risk of breaking, falling, or being dangerous, not all the soapberry trees that are thriving on every street.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee reminded the city agencies that in addition to having a roadmap and appropriate steps in replacing trees in the city, they must do a good job of propaganda so that people understand and create consensus. When people's opinions are not in agreement, they need to stop to listen and absorb the correct opinions.
At the same time, the City Party Secretary requested individuals and units to seriously correct and overcome the limitations and shortcomings in recent practices./.
