Suspend circulation of 42 drugs causing reactions
The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just announced that 42 drugs containing the active ingredient buflomedil have been withdrawn from the list of drugs registered for circulation in Vietnam because the drugs cause serious adverse reactions to the cardiovascular and nervous systems, increasing the risk of death in some cases.

These are drugs such as Buflomedil hydrochloride 150, Buflomedil 1%, Cefzid - 150mg, Vincodil, Buflow 150mg, Medimedil 150mg, Buflomedil, Neubudil, Bufidin, Fondezil... indicated for the treatment of chronic cerebral circulatory disorders, cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury; peripheral vascular disease.
The Drug Administration also requested the health departments of provinces and cities, manufacturers and distributors to urgently recall drugs containing the active ingredient buflomedil nationwide and send a report to the Department before September 27.
