The drug does not meet quality standards for solubility.

Suspend and recall Dexacol 5ml eye drops, batch number: 074141, manufacturing date: October 2, 2014, expiry date: April 2, 2016, registration number: VN-16492-12 manufactured by 3/2 Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, sample taken at Binh Trang Pharmaceutical Company Limited (counter 324, 3rd floor, building 24T1 - Hapulico). The drug does not meet quality standards for the quantitative index of Chloramphenicol.

The Department of Health requested Hanoi Central Pharmaceutical Company 2, Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3/2, and Binh Trang Pharmaceutical Company Limited to recall and send recall reports to all drug purchasing establishments, requesting establishments to continue to notify and recall to urgently and thoroughly recall the above batches of drugs that do not meet the quality standards.

Sector units and non-public medical facilities in the area urgently review and recall the batches of drugs that do not meet the above quality standards.
