This year, the National Day holiday of September 2nd is 4 days off. Therefore, on routes with tourist and resort destinations such as Sa Pa, Vinh, Quang Binh, Hai Phong, the railway industry has deployed more train pairs to serve passengers both outbound and return.

On the afternoon of August 21, Hanoi Railway Station announced this information. Accordingly, for outgoing trains (from Hanoi Railway Station), in addition to the existing trains, on August 29, train QB1 (Hanoi - Dong Hoi - Da Nang) will run; on the Hanoi - Lao Cai route, trains SP5 and SP9 will run on August 29; on the Hanoi - Thanh Hoa - Vinh route, trains NA7 and NA9 will run on August 29.

Trains returning on September 1st will run additional train QB2; Vinh – Thanh Hoa – Hanoi route will run NA8 on September 1st and on September 2nd, will run additional trains NA8, NA12; Lao Cai – Hanoi route will run additional trains SP6, SP10 on September 1st; Hanoi – Hai Phong route will run additional train LP10 on September 2nd.

Also according to Hanoi station, from August 30 to September 2, 2014, trains LP7/8 and YB1/2 will depart and end at Hanoi station. From August 29 to September 3, 2014, there will be no discount for passengers purchasing group tickets.

Outside of the above time, passengers purchasing group tickets of 20 or more people will receive discounts as follows: From 20 to 29 people, 2% discount; From 30 to 39 people, 4% discount; From 40 to 49 people, 8% discount and from 50 people or more, 10% discount on the fixed ticket price of the seat type used.
