Do Luong: Heavy rain causes local flooding

(Baonghean.vn) - During the two days from September 16-17, in Do Luong district, there was heavy rain causing localized flooding in many places, affecting people's travel.

In particular, heavy and continuous rain on the evening of September 16 and the morning of September 17 caused flooding of many rice fields, crops and traffic routes.

In the district town area, many sections are flooded 40 - 50 cm deep. Prolonged heavy rain has caused the water level in lakes, dams, especially the third crop fish farming area and ponds to rise.

The rainfall in the past 3 days alone in Do Luong has reached 200mm. Prolonged heavy rain has affected the summer-autumn rice harvest and winter crop production of Do Luong people.

Traffic is difficult in Do Luong town.

Many roads in Do Luong town were flooded.
