On the afternoon of June 18, the Provincial Inspection Team for Discipline and Administrative Discipline conducted a surprise inspection in Do Luong district.

Do Luong is a locality that is assessed to have implemented quite well the discipline and administrative discipline of the state. The work of thoroughly disseminating, directing and urging the specialized departments and communes to fully implement. The District People's Committee strictly implemented and issued inspection documents, directing the previous conclusion notices.

However, through inspections in Thinh Son and Van Son communes, the delegation found many shortcomings and limitations. Specifically, the communes have not issued regulations on assigning specific tasks to cadres and civil servants in a clear manner. Many cadres and civil servants are absent without reason. The monthly and weekly work programs of the communes have not been clearly shown. In the communes, administrative procedures and records have not been posted at the one-stop department, and there is no plan to arrange adequate staff.

Regarding the code of conduct, professional ethics is not good, many civil servants do not wear badges, do not have title badges. The Party Committee of Thinh Son commune issued regulations on working hours contrary to the regulations of the Government. The commune People's Committee headquarters has not hung the National Emblem sign according to regulations.

In the specialized departments of the District People's Committee, many civil servants are absent. Many officials have not strictly followed the regulations on office culture.

The District People's Committee needs to strengthen inspection and propaganda work to raise awareness, change behavior and enhance responsibility for officials and civil servants in the district.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tat Thanh - Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee thanked and acknowledged the contents of the inspection team. Accepting the opinions of the team, the District People's Committee will review and inspect the implementation of discipline and order in communes and specialized departments. Regarding the shortcomings and limitations pointed out by the inspection team, the District People's Committee will promptly overcome them.
