Implementing Uncle Ho's patriotic emulation teachings and practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the district's establishment, in 2013, Do Luong district launched and created a widespread labor emulation movement in all fields. The district completed 24/27 socio-economic targets of 2013; emulation movements such as restructuring crops and livestock, land consolidation, land accumulation, and building new rural areas achieved encouraging successes; grain crop output reached 94,466 tons, an increase of 73 tons compared to 2012, and the total livestock and poultry herd increased; Average production value per capita reached 30.46 million VND, an increase of 4.6 million compared to 2012. Industry, handicrafts and basic construction continued to create new changes when taking advantage of investment from superiors, balancing local budgets to continue investing in completing key projects that were under construction, industrial production value increased by 18.09%...

Based on the evaluation of the results of the comprehensive emulation movement in 2013, drawing experience from successful and unachieved units, the district boldly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations; at the same time, launched the movement and signed the emulation covenant in 2014.
