(Baonghean.vn) -At 7:30 p.m. yesterday, March 27, Mr. Pham Thong's house (born in 1982, hamlet 1, Quynh Ba commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An) lost power. His family poured oil into the lamp to light it but mistakenly used the gasoline can, and the house caught fire.
Mr. Thong's house lost power, Mr. Pham Chinh (Mr. Thong's younger brother) took a can of oil to pour into the lamp but mistakenly used a can of gasoline. When Mr. Thong used a gas lighter to light his brother's lamp, the gasoline caught fire. Mr. Chinh was startled and spilled the can of gasoline, the fire started to spread quickly and burned the bedding, curtains, clothes and other household items.
Seeing this, the neighbors rushed to put out the fire, but the fire was too big to save. After more than 30 minutes, the fire burned down the entire house and all the property inside. Ms. Hue (Mr. Thong's wife) was lying on the bed with her 4-year-old child surrounded by fire and trapped in the house. After efforts to save the victims, Phan Thi Thanh Thao and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue were rescued and had to be taken to the emergency room at Quynh Luu General Hospital.
