Song Dinh urban area, Quy Hop district is a type V urban area.
(Baonghean) - (Resolution No. 87/2013/NQ-HDND, dated July 17, 2013 of the People's Council of Nghe An province, term XVI, 9th session).
Article 1. Approving the Project to classify Song Dinh Urban Area, Quy Hop District as a type V urban area with the following main contents:
1. Location, boundaries and urban scale:
a. Location, boundaries:
Song Dinh urban area is located on National Highway 48, in the East of Quy Hop district, in the area of 3 communes: Minh Hop, Nghia Xuan and Tam Hop, Quy Hop district. Bordering the following sides:
- The North borders the remaining part of Tam Hop commune and Dinh river;
- To the South, it borders the remaining part of Minh Hop commune;
- To the East, it borders Dinh River and Nghia Dan district;
- The West borders the remaining part of Tam Hop commune.
b. Urban scale:
- Natural land area: 473.30 ha;
- Population: 7,422 people (as of June 2011);
- Population density: 1,569 people/km2;
- Non-agricultural labor rate: 70.56%;
- Average economic growth rate in the last 3 years: 16.03%;
- Economic structure: Industry - Small industry - Trade services.
2. Urban functions:
Song Dinh urban area is the administrative, economic, cultural, social, educational - training, commercial service, industrial, and handicraft center of the eastern region of Quy Hop district; it is the driving force for the development of the entire commune cluster and of Quy Hop district.
3. Evaluation results of 6 criteria according to the provisions of Decree No. 42/2009/ND-CP dated May 7, 2009 of the Government and Circular No. 34/2009/TT-BXD dated September 30, 2009 of the Ministry of Construction at the time of classification: Total classification score reached 72.8/100 points, meeting the standards of a type V urban area, specifically:
Article 2. Implementation
Assign the Provincial People's Committee to decide on recognizing Song Dinh Urban Area, Quy Hop District as meeting the standards of a type V urban area according to current regulations.
Article 3. Entry into force
This Resolution was passed by the 16th People's Council of Nghe An province, 9th session on July 17, 2013 and takes effect 10 days after the date of passage.
