The working delegation of the Border and Cartography Department (Laos) visited and worked with the Border Guard of Nghe An province

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of August 30, during the working program in Vietnam, the working delegation of the Border and Cartography Department, General Staff of the Lao People's Army, led by Colonel, Director Sy-Phan Phut-Tha-Vong, visited and worked with the Nghe An Border Guard Command.

Overview of the working session

At the meeting, Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van - Commander of Nghe An Border Guard reported to the Delegation on some activities of Nghe An Border Guard with Laos, notably the solidarity, close and effective coordination with the functional forces of the three provinces of Xieng Khouang, Hua Phan and Bo Ly Kham Xay in managing and protecting the border, maintaining political security and social order and safety, fighting and preventing all kinds of crimes, especially drug crimes. He also informed and assessed the situation of coordination in implementing the task of planting national border markers after the marker planting teams temporarily handed over to the functional units of Nghe An province with the three provinces of Laos for management and protection. Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van also introduced to the Delegation the socio-economic development situation of Nghe An province, and the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.

On behalf of the members of the delegation, Colonel Sy-Phan Phut-Tha-Vong thanked the officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Border Guard Command for their thoughtful, respectful and friendly reception and for exchanging valuable lessons in the management and protection of sovereignty and border security. Colonel Sy-Phan Phut-Tha-Vong also informed about the outstanding achievements that the Party, State and Lao People's Revolutionary Army have achieved in the cause of building, developing and protecting the country.
