The Supreme People's Court Council of Judges delegation worked in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 25, the working delegation of the Supreme People's Court's Judicial Council led by comrade Truong Hoa Binh - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court visited and worked in Nghe An province. Receiving the delegation on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, comrades in the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, and leaders of provincial departments and branches.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee informed the working delegation about the socio-economic situation, national defense and security and Party building work.

In 2014, 25/27 targets were achieved and exceeded; the total product growth rate reached 7.24%, the highest ever. Budget revenue reached over 7,650 billion VND. Food output reached 1.2 million tons. The province has the largest number of workers exported abroad in the country.

In 2014, Nghe An province made many breakthroughs in infrastructure construction, creating a new step from rural to urban areas. Investment promotion and foreign affairs activities had many innovations, practical and effective. During the year, new investment certificates were granted and adjusted for 187 projects, with a registered capital of 55,663 billion VND. Of which, there were 2 major projects: Vinh urban upgrading and the Northern irrigation system upgrading project. Attention was paid to attracting investment to the western region of the province, focusing on high-tech investment in production and livestock breeding. The socio-cultural field was of interest.

Nghe An is one of the top localities in terms of educational achievements. National defense, security, and social order and safety are maintained. The province pays attention to social security, poverty reduction, and care for the material and spiritual life of the people.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Provincial Party Secretary reported on the situation in Nghe An

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc emphasized: In 2015, the province will continue to focus on major projects in the area. Strengthen investment attraction; promote vocational training; expand Cua Lo port and Vinh airport; focus on economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; pay attention to socio-economic development in the Western region; promote Party building work, successfully organize Party congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term.

Comrade Truong Hoa Binh expressed his joy at the achievements that the Party Committee and people of the province have achieved in recent times.
