(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 20, the delegation of Son La province had a working session with the leaders of Nghe An province.

Attending the working session, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee; representatives of departments, branches and sectors. On the side of the delegation of the neighboring province, there were comrades: Hoang Van Chat - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Cam Ngoc Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, members of the Standing Committee, representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Son La province.

Overview of the working session.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highlighted some notable features in the socio-economic situation of Nghe An province in 2014 and the first 6 months of 2015: economic growth rate in 2014 reached 7.24%, the first 6 months of 2015 reached 6.51%, higher than the same period in recent years; economic structure continued to shift in the right direction, agricultural, forestry and fishery production grew steadily. In addition, the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee was also pleased to inform the delegation about the plan to build the provincial administrative center.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc reported on the socio-economic situation of Nghe An province.

On behalf of the leaders of Son La province, Comrade Hoang Van Chat - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council thanked Nghe An province for the thoughtful and warm welcome. He wished that the plan to build a modern administrative center that the province is investing in would soon start and be completed on schedule, and at the same time, he outlined some highlights of the development situation of Son La province.

Comrade Hoang Van Chat also announced the plan to build a monument of Uncle Ho with the ethnic minorities of the Northwest at the Northwest Square in Son La City. The monument of Uncle Ho with the ethnic minorities of the Northwest has a total investment of more than 1,400 billion VND, implemented from 2015 to 2019. The groundbreaking ceremony is expected to start construction on October 11, 2015, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the founding of Son La province.

After listening to the Son La province delegation report on the plan and scale of the Uncle Ho Monument to the people of the Northwest, the leaders of Nghe An province were very happy and excited because there will soon be another relic site preserving the image of the Father of the nation, a world-famous cultural celebrity, the one who guided the Vietnamese revolution to final victory.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong presented some contents about the construction of Uncle Ho Statue - Ho Chi Minh Square.

Also at the meeting, on behalf of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, comrade Hoang Viet Duong presented some contents on the construction of Uncle Ho Statue - Ho Chi Minh Square and the investment in the construction of the Administrative Area concentrating provincial departments and branches.

At the end of the meeting, Comrade Hoang Van Chat respectfully invited the leaders of Nghe An province to visit and work in Son La province. Comrade Ho Duc Phoc accepted the invitation and said he would arrange to visit and work in Son La province at a reasonable time.
