The Ho Chi Minh City delegation was led by Comrade Than Thi Thu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. Accompanying the delegation from Nghe An were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports.

Offering a basket of fresh flowers to the soul of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of our Party and people; an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement.

He devoted and sacrificed his whole life to the cause of national liberation, fighting for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world.

Over the years, implementing his sacred testament, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City have united to build the city named after him to become increasingly rich, civilized, modern, and always the economic locomotive of the whole country.

At the meeting, comrade Than Thi Thu - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee affirmed: During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always turned towards the South and paid special attention to cadres, soldiers and people in the South.

Ho Chi Minh City is honored to be the city named after Uncle Ho, where he left to find a way to save the country. With the affection and responsibility of the city named after him and on the occasion of comrade Nguyen Thien Nhan's working trip to Nghe An on January 25, 2019, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City visited Kim Lien Relic Site to directly survey, discuss, and find solutions to restore and upgrade the system of displaying artifacts and documents about the life, career and life of President Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Huong said that Ho Chi Minh City's policy of collecting and supplementing documents and artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh as well as adjusting the display system at Kim Lien Relic Site is a meaningful work on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (2019), towards the 90th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 130th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday in 2020.

The Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee also shared his wish that Ho Chi Minh City would support Nghe An province in collecting and supplementing valuable artifacts and documents about President Ho Chi Minh, and at the same time deploying modern display techniques to preserve artifacts and documents well, while being suitable for the overall space of the relic.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed that Ho Chi Minh City will coordinate with Nghe An province and the Kim Lien Relic Site Management Board to develop an outline and design the display system. Ho Chi Minh City will be responsible for inviting experts and scientists to contribute ideas to complete the outline and design a unique, special and harmonious display and preservation system with the overall relic, as well as provide financial support for implementation. The two sides also agreed to divide the implementation into phases to speed up the implementation progress and put each item into operation as soon as possible.
