Chosun University, located in Gwangju City, is one of the oldest private universities in Korea, with about 33,000 students studying. The school is ranked in the top 25 out of 400 universities with the best training quality in Korea. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing friendly and cooperative relations by the Gwangju City Government and the People's Committee of Nghe An Province on October 27, 2022 is the foundation for Chosun University and departments, branches, universities and colleges in Nghe An Province to implement cooperation programs.

During the working trip, Chosun University had a working session with Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, Vinh University and Nghe An University of Economics.

The parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding with cooperation contents on teacher exchange; student exchange, academic exchange, training programs and curriculum, scientific research, exchange with students about music, Taekwondo practice, K-pop...

At the meeting with the Department of Culture and Sports, the two sides discussed and proposed a number of cultural and sports exchange activities in 2023 and the following years, such as exchanging artist groups to participate in major cultural events of Nghe An and Gwangju, such as the Lotus Village Festival Program, the Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival Program, the Gwangju City Autumn Cultural Festival Program, etc.

The delegation also visited, offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Kim Lien Relic Site.
