In the 2025-2026 school year, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College has many majors exceeding enrollment targets.
On the morning of September 5, joining the national atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training), Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026.
Attending the event were representatives of business and unit leaders; Board of Directors, staff, teachers, employees and 300 outstanding students representing more than 3,000 students of the whole school.

At the ceremony, the school's Board of Directors reported on the training results of the 2024-2025 school year. Accordingly, with the efforts of the staff, teachers, students, and the attention and support of all levels, sectors, the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and businesses, the school has basically completed the set targets, maintaining its position as a prestigious vocational training address, providing high-quality human resources for localities and domestic businesses.
During the past school year, the rate of students graduating with good or excellent grades was high; over 93% of students found jobs in industrial parks and domestic corporations within 6 months of graduation, and were highly appreciated by businesses for their capacity and style.
The school also promotes consulting and introducing highly skilled workers to work and study abroad in Korea and Japan; connecting more than 1,200 students to practice and find jobs.

Scientific research and start-up activities have seen many improvements: At the 7th "Students with Start-up Ideas" Contest in 2025 organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the school won 2 national prizes. In the team, 2 lecturers successfully defended their master's theses, 29 cadres and teachers were trained to improve their qualifications at home and abroad; at the National Vocational Education Teachers' Conference, the school won 1 Third Prize and 1 Encouragement Prize.
New school year, the school continues to open more Chinese majors, autonomous National Defense Education subjects, closely coordinate with agencies and units to implement the criteria of high-quality colleges according to Decision 1363 of the Prime Minister. Volunteer activities of students are taking place actively, with many practical programs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ho Van Dam - Principal of the school affirmed that the above achievements are the result of collective efforts and the attention and direction of provincial leaders, departments, branches, KOICA, domestic and foreign enterprises. The Principal asked staff and teachers to continue to deeply understand the responsibility of "growing people", and students to actively study and practice.
In the 2025-2026 school year, the school will focus all resources on striving to meet the criteria of a high-quality college; expand cooperation with domestic and foreign businesses, universities and colleges; effectively implement the KOICA Phase 4 Investment Project to improve staff qualifications, invest in equipment and support output for students.
On this occasion, the Board of Directors commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year. Specifically, 1 individual received the Third Class Labor Medal; 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 3 collectives and 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; presented gifts to students with excellent achievements, high scores in the high school graduation exam and students who overcame difficulties to rise up.


Along with teaching and vocational training, at the opening ceremony, many businesses also presented scholarships to the school.
