(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 13, a working delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and encouraged fishermen in Son Hai and Quynh Tho communes whose fishing boats caught fire at sea on the night of October 9.

The working delegation of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Mr. Le Van Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman visited the families of the crew members: Tran Van Ngoc - owner of fishing boat NA 93031; Dau Van Tinh - owner of fishing boat NA 95095; Ho Van Tam - owner of fishing boat NA 95003, all residing in Son Hai commune, and Pham Van Tuan - owner of fishing boat NA 95432, in Quynh Tho commune.

At the families, comrade Le Van Ngoc expressed his sympathy and shared the loss of fishermen when all 4 fishing boats were completely burned, causing damage of more than 8 billion VND. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee hoped that the local government and the district departments, branches and sectors would pay attention and help the families whose fishing boats were burned to access banks to borrow capital for re-production.

In order to share the difficulties and provide timely encouragement to the families of the crew members, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee supported each owner of the fishing boat that was burned with 5 million VND. On this occasion, the Quynh Luu District Fatherland Front Committee also supported each owner of the fishing boat that was burned with 3 million VND; the total amount of support from the Provincial and District Fatherland Front Committees was 32 million VND.
