Delegation of the French Communist Party visits Vietnam
On February 18, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh warmly received a delegation of the French Communist Party (PCF) led by Mr. Jean Charles Nefgre, Coordinator of the PCF Standing Committee, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.

On behalf of the Party leadership, Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh warmly welcomed the delegation to visit Vietnam on the occasion of the New Year of the Horse; assessing the visit of the PCF's senior leaders as an important manifestation contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and peoples of Vietnam and France.
The Standing Member of the Secretariat affirmed that the Party attaches importance to relations with fraternal parties and traditional friends and emphasized the desire for the friendship and cooperation between the two Parties to be increasingly consolidated and developed in many aspects, contributing to further promoting the existing good relations between the two States and two peoples, especially after the two countries upgraded their relations to a strategic partnership in September 2013.
Mr. Jean Charles Nefgre expressed his pleasure to be in Vietnam in the first days of the new year and thanked Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh for taking the time to receive the delegation.
He informed Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh about some major features of the PCF's situation in recent times as well as the tasks that the PCF set for 2014.
Appreciating the loyal sentiment and effective cooperation of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, he also discussed with Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh about the possibilities and directions of cooperation to further promote the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two Parties and peoples in the coming time.
