(Baonghean.vn) -In preparation for the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly scheduled to be held in October, on the morning of September 6, under the chairmanship of Mr. Pham Van Tan - Head of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a conference to collect comments on the draft Law on Employment.
The Law on Employment was submitted by the Government and discussed and commented on by the National Assembly at its 5th session. In order for the draft to meet practical requirements when issued, the National Assembly Standing Committee directed relevant agencies and organizations to continue to research and widely collect opinions to explain, absorb, and revise the draft Law.
At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the National Assembly's consideration and discussion of the Employment Law project, which consists of 7 chapters and 63 articles. However, according to delegates, the scope of the Law project does not only regulate employment support policies but also needs to regulate policies on job creation, job placement, job settlement and workers' rights. Therefore, the problem is that the State needs to include in the project training policies associated with job settlement, training associated with labor demand; job placement, job settlement, avoiding the situation where workers find jobs themselves, leading to chaos in the labor market and waste of labor.

Delegates also focused on giving opinions on the chapter on assessment and granting of national vocational skills certificates in addition to recognizing the level of vocational skills according to the qualifications of workers in accordance with the industry and profession and for workers to perfect their professional capacity according to the draft law, it is necessary to supplement this, this is the basis for employers to recruit and assign labor to workers in accordance with the level of the industry and profession. In principle, national vocational skills assessment must ensure voluntary, accurate, and correct skill levels according to national skill standards according to the correct profession and level.
In addition, delegates also commented on a number of issues regarding the layout and wording of the draft law to ensure accuracy, consistency with current laws related to workers and practicality.
The opinions of the delegates at the conference will be fully compiled by the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation and sent to the National Assembly Standing Committee before the upcoming 6th session.
