National Assembly delegation meets voters of Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 7, the 13th National Assembly delegates, including comrade Pham Van Tan - Head of the 13th Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Le Thi Tam - Provincial Party Committee member, President of the Provincial Women's Union, had a meeting with voters of Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town).

At the meeting, comrade Le Thi Tam - President of the Provincial Women's Union informed voters about the program, time and content of the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly. As planned, at this meeting, the National Assembly will consider and pass 11 draft laws and 1 resolution, including laws such as the amended Law on Government Organization, Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, Law on Organization of Local Government... At the same time, give opinions on 15 draft laws such as the Law on Information Security, Law on Referendum, Law on Temporary Detention...

At the meeting, voters of Nghi Hoa ward presented many problems that still exist in the locality to the National Assembly delegates. Voters were concerned about the phenomenon of overloaded and oversized vehicles still circulating on the road, the problem of unsynchronized, unfinished, and prolonged investment in traffic construction on cross-roads 20, 21, and 22 passing through the area, leading to the situation where people cannot invest in building and repairing houses; some projects in the area receive land but are slow to implement; some voters expressed concerns about the allowance regime and operating costs for mass organizations in the hamlet are still low or almost non-existent; the regime for people with meritorious services and the elderly; in particular, victims of traffic accidents but Social Insurance only supports when they are transferred to the right hospital for emergency care; road fees have been collected per vehicle, why are toll stations still established...

Attending the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thi Dung - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, clearly explained some questions of voters under the authority of the People's Committee of the Town. Such as the issue of some roads being slow to be implemented due to insufficient funding, if houses are dilapidated and degraded, people can repair them to live in but cannot build new ones or expand them; the town will arrange resettlement areas for families in need while there is no source of compensation for site clearance for people. Regarding traffic accident victims, the comrade clearly stated that it is necessary to take the victims to the nearest medical facility, if necessary, the town will intervene so that people can receive insurance. There are currently a number of projects in the area that are slow to be implemented. In 2013, the Provincial People's Committee decided to establish an inspection team in the entire province. Currently, Hanoi Tourism Company and Song Hong Company have submitted a request to the province to adjust the planning. When the province has a decision, it will be publicly announced to voters.

Taking note of voters' recommendations and concerns, comrade Pham Van Tan accepted the opinions, explained the issues within his authority, and at the same time explained to voters that correct and reasonable opinions would be collected to make recommendations to relevant authorities as well as sent to the National Assembly for consideration and resolution to ensure the legitimate rights of the people.
