Delegation of Gyeonggi province (Korea) held talks with delegation of Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) -At the invitation of the Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province, today March 18, a delegation of the People's Council of Gyeonggi province (Korea) led by Mr. Yun Wha Sub - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and worked in Nghe An.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Before working with the Provincial People's Council, the delegation visited Kim Lien relic site, Nam Dan district - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh; visited, offered incense and flowers at the temple of King Quang Trung on Dung Quyet mountain (Vinh city); visited and worked with the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Vocational College.
Signing of Memorandum of Understanding
Delegates of the two delegations witnessed the memorandum of understanding.
At the meeting, Mr. Tran Hong Chau informed about the economic, cultural and social situation of the province; the situation of cultural exchange and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea, between Nghe An and some provinces of Korea. Currently, Nghe An has 8 projects of Korean investors, with a total investment capital of nearly 60 million USD. There are nearly 5,500 Nghe An workers working in Korea. The Korean Government has invested with ODA capital to build the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College, providing long-term vocational training for 8,500 people, short-term vocational training for 1,700 people, and training for labor export orientation for 4,500 workers. In addition, there are cultural exchange activities, twinning between Vinh city of Nghe An and Namgiangzu city of Korea...

The delegation of Gyeonggi Province, Korea provided some information: Gyeonggi is a province with a population of over 12 million people, the largest area and population in Korea; developed economy, culture, society, modern science and technology, advanced management level, many dynamic businesses.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues on economic, cultural and social development cooperation; discussed the contents of the agreement and reached an agreement to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Yun Wha Sub - Chairman of the People's Council of Gyeonggi Province, Korea invited the delegation of the People's Council of Nghe An province to visit in the near future.
