Delegation of Nghe An province visited Truong Sa archipelago and attended the inauguration ceremony of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House on Truong Sa Lon island.
(Baonghean) -Thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 4th Central Resolution - Session 10 on the Sea and Island Strategy, and responding to the movement "The whole country for Truong Sa, Truong Sa for the whole country", at 8:00 a.m. on May 13, 2010, working group No. 11 organized by the Navy Command inspected the situation, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers on duty at a number of islands in the Truong Sa archipelago, led by Rear Admiral Nguyen Cong Hoa - Deputy Political Commissar of the Navy Command.
The working delegation included representatives from Nghe An province and Thai Binh, Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, a number of agencies: Navy Command, M25 Brigade, Tan Cang Construction Company of the Navy, Military Technical Institute, domestic press delegation. Nghe An delegation was led by Comrade To Hong Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, representatives of the Party Committee's Civil Affairs Department, Office of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee, Provincial Military Command, Public Security, Border Guard, Department of Construction, Department of Information and Communications, Nghe An Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, representatives of the Propaganda Department, Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, Provincial Youth Union, Cultural and Artistic Team of Nghe An Border Guard. This time, Nghe An province will give gifts to the military, people, and schools on islands in Truong Sa archipelago, including 11 million VND worth of Viettel phone cards, with a total value of nearly 80 million VND.
After 2 days and 2 nights traveling on the East Sea, at 10:00 a.m. on May 15, the working group arrived at the first island point - point B of Da Lon island.
