This is a re-monitoring after the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation, term XII, organized a monitoring of this issue in 2008. Therefore, at the monitoring, the Delegation was concerned about the issues raised in the 2008 monitoring session that were resolved like this. The Delegation acknowledged the efforts and endeavors of all levels, sectors, and professional agencies of Anh Son district, notably mobilizing the whole society to participate in monitoring and proactively preventing epidemics, national health programs related to maternal and child health, prevention of infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS..., contributing to improving people's health, up to this point 100% of communes and towns have met national health standards according to the old standards.
However, there are still some difficulties and problems. That is, activities in the field of oriental medicine are mainly based on family traditions without qualifications, so there is no basis for granting practice certificates. Therefore, the National Assembly and the Government need to research to have a method of "examination" to have a basis for granting business certificates. The facilities, capacity and staffing at commune and town health stations are not enough, currently only 9/21 communes have doctors at the station.
Speaking at the supervision meeting, comrade Pham Van Tan acknowledged the results achieved by the district in the past time. The issues raised by the district will be compiled by the Delegation to report to the Provincial People's Committee, the National Assembly, the Government and ministries and branches on matters under the Central authority.
