Nghe An National Assembly Delegation works with provincial hospitals

(Baonghean.vn) -As reported, continuing the monitoring program, this afternoon, August 28, the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation led by Comrade Pham Van Tan - Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation worked with the leaders of the following hospitals: Provincial Friendship General Hospital; Obstetrics and Pediatrics; Traditional Medicine; Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases; Cua Dong General Hospital; 115; Psychiatry and Nghe An Medical University.

At the meeting, hospital leaders affirmed that the State's implementation of the socialization policy in public health care has really created many opportunities for medical facilities to improve the quality of examination and treatment for patients. In particular, hospitals have mobilized resources to invest in facilities, purchase equipment and many modern machines, creating conditions for hospitals to deploy many advanced and new techniques, thereby reducing pressure on the upper level and reducing difficulties for patients in the province.

Hospitals recommend that the allocation of health insurance cards to hospitals should be more scientific in terms of quotas and that it is not reasonable for hospitals treating chronic diseases such as Traditional Medicine; Psychiatry; Tuberculosis and lung diseases when emergency and acute cases of a multidisciplinary nature are difficult to handle. At the same time, patients should be allowed to enjoy health insurance at hospitals on Sundays, because in reality, many patients are officials and civil servants who only take advantage of their days off to see a doctor but are not entitled to it, affecting the rights of this group... Inadequacies in medical ethics, administrative procedures; patient referrals; hospital overload... were also discussed frankly by hospitals.

On behalf of the Supervisory Delegation, Comrade Pham Van Tan acknowledged and accepted the opinions and recommendations of hospital leaders; at the same time, he promised to fully convey them to relevant levels and sectors for resolution.
