The love story ends, Mancini wishes Balotelli good luck on his journey
Man City coach Roberto Mancini admitted that the Italian striker is about to say goodbye to Etihad and said he has no intention of finding a replacement for Mario Balotelli in the winter transfer window.
Information related to Mario Balotelli's future has been constantly appearing densely before the QPR - Man City match early this morning. Answering the press after the match, Mancini shared with Sky Sport:"Both clubs are talking about him. I think everything can be done tomorrow. I think Mario is ready for the medical."

"Man City feels sorry because we love Mario very much. But I think he will have a great opportunity to return to Italy and play for another top club like Milan."
When asked about the possibility of finding a replacement, Mancini said negotiations regarding Balotelli's transfer only began 48 hours ago, meaning Man City have too little time to make new deals. He said:"Four days ago we still had nothing. But two days ago we started talking about Balotelli's transfer."
"I don't know (about a replacement). Man City have three strikers. We will see, the club has only two days left. It's difficult to find a player at this time."
Speaking about the match, Mancini praised QPR's performance, especially goalkeeper Julio Cesar. Cesar had worked with Mancini when both were at Inter Milan. Mancini continued:"Julio is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He saved his team. I'm happy for him because I know Julio very well. But I'm very disappointed for Man City."
"I think QPR are a different team now. They don't leave too much space. It's difficult to play against them because they play with 10 players in front of the ball. Tonight, Man City missed a good chance. The team played well, we kept a clean sheet. But in football, you have to score goals."
