Compete to carry out movements and major campaigns well

The highlight is the movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families". In the past term, 15,680/16,860 women met the 3 standards of the movement = 93% (an increase of 18% compared to the beginning of the term, exceeding 8% compared to the Resolution). There were 1,871/2,079 female employees and workers who achieved the title of "good at public work, good at housework" at the grassroots level, 20 women achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the provincial level (an increase of 5% compared to the beginning of the term, exceeding 1% compared to the Resolution).

The implementation of "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" in the spirit of Directive 03 of the Politburo has been seriously and widely deployed among all cadres and women's union members. Many grassroots unions have good and creative ways of doing things such as helping families in difficult circumstances, celebrating Tet for poor women, and buying books for orphans at the beginning of the school year.

Identify the Campaign to build “5 no 3 clean” families associated with building new rural areas and civilized towns as a key activity throughout the term. Currently, the whole district has 76 models, 5 no 3 clean family clubs, in 2015 the whole district had 14,433 member households meeting the criteria of “5 no, 3 clean” families.

Effectively deploy key tasks

Along with the emulation movements and major campaigns, the implementation of key tasks in the past term was also highly valued by all levels of the Women's Union. Helping members practice and cultivate the morality of women to fulfill their duties as wives and mothers, and to be the ones who keep the fire burning in the family.

In order to create conditions for poor, disadvantaged women in difficult areas to develop the economy and sustainably reduce poverty, over the past 5 years, the Women's Union at all levels has directed assistance to 100% of poor households headed by women and eliminated 515 poor female households, of which 150 female-headed households achieved 100% of the Resolution.

As a representative of the legitimate rights and interests of women, the Women's Union at all levels has introduced and advised the Party Committee on outstanding cadres and members to have plans for training and inclusion in the planning. As a result, the proportion of women participating in the Party Committee for the 2015 - 2020 term: District level 17.95% (up 2.95%); Commune and Town Party Committees 19.2% (up 4.2%); female delegates of the People's Council at the district level 35%, commune and town level 36.7%; introduced outstanding women for the Party to consider admitting 370 women, of which 111 were rural women, exceeding the target set by the Resolution by 55 women.

From the above activities, the district's women's movement has successfully completed its tasks for many consecutive years, receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union; an emulation flag from the Provincial People's Committee and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.

Goals and solutions

In the 2016 - 2021 term, Quy Hop women set the following goals: Focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of the emulation movement "Women actively study, work, be creative, build a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; The campaign to train the qualities of "confidence, self-respect, loyalty, and responsibility" in cadres and women's union members, the campaigns to build "Warm homes of love", the emulation movement for mass mobilization skillfully associated with building new rural areas.

To achieve that basic goal, Quy Hop women proposed the following solutions: Continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; Focus on innovating propaganda and education work, focusing on innovation in the direction of depth, quality and efficiency; Improve the quality of female cadres and union cadres at all levels, focusing on the grassroots; Promote the internal strength and strengths of women members; mobilize and exploit resources; Innovate and improve the quality of inspection and supervision work in the direction of strengthening detection, guidance and support. Improve the method of evaluating emulation and rewards to ensure practicality, quality, efficiency, fairness, democracy and objectivity.

With their roles and responsibilities, Quy Hop women's union members and officials promote tradition, solidarity, and determination to successfully carry out the goals and tasks of the movement and activities of the Union for the 2016-2021 term.
