Unity in building the homeland in Dong Lam Parish
(Baonghean.vn) - Visiting Hung Son commune, Anh Son district in the last days of the year, we witnessed the joyful and excited atmosphere of the parishioners of Dong Lam parish preparing to celebrate Christmas. The ringing of church bells evoked the peaceful life of the countryside on the left bank of Lam river.
Crossing the Dragon Ferry suspension bridge over the Lam River, passing through the green alluvial plains of corn and sugarcane, passing through seemingly endless green tea hills, we arrived at Dong Lam Parish, belonging toHung Son commune(Mr. Son). Route 7B through Hung Son has been upgraded and paved; inter-village roads have also been concreted, making travel easy and convenient.

Dong Lam parish has about 270 households with 1,400 people (more than 23% of the total population of the commune), living mainly in Hop Tien village (about 80%) and Tan Tien village (about 20%). The income of the people is basically based on agricultural production, including growing rice, corn, sugarcane, tea and raising livestock and poultry. In particular, in recent years, industrial tea has become a key crop, helping many farming households to rise up.escape poverty, many households get rich.
In addition, some households have developed additional jobs such as service business, mechanics, bakers and construction workers. Currently, the whole parish has only about 10 poor households.

Thanks to that, people's lives have been constantly improved and enhanced, many families have built spacious houses, purchased modern facilities to serve their lives. When having a stable source of income, life is improved, from there children have the conditions to study at higher levels, many children have passed the entrance exams to universities, colleges and have stable jobs.
In particular, there are households here that earn hundreds of millions of dong each year, contributing to enriching their homeland. Typical examples include Mr. Le Tien Dung with a mechanical workshop producing aluminum and glass to serve the people in the area; Mr. Nguyen Van Quy with his job of making vermicelli, cakes and developing livestock; Mr. Dinh Xuan Phu with dozens of hectares of raw tea, earning tens of millions of dong each month...

According to Mr. Tran Minh Hoan - Chairman of Hung Son Commune People's Committee, the parishioners in the area are all working hard, working in production and developing the socio-economy, their income is increasingly improved. In particular, most of the people are conscious of building a rich and civilized homeland, contributing to maintaining a peaceful and prosperous life.
For example, the commune is implementing the construction of a Martyrs' Temple with an area of 1,500 m2, total funding of 5 billion VND from socialized sources, including householdsparishionerstens of millions of dong in support. People also actively contribute to the construction of public welfare projects such as schools, cultural houses, rural roads, and stadiums.

Recently, the commune has mobilized people to contribute funds to build 7 stadiums with standard soccer, volleyball, and badminton fields, meeting the training needs and improving the health of the people. Both Catholics and non-Catholics have enthusiastically supported the funds and participated in working days for the construction.
Currently, the whole commune is focusing on building a new, advanced rural area, the key task is to upgrade and expand rural roads associated with the movement to build green, clean and beautiful residential areas. The inner-village roads have been expanded with concrete area, the surrounding wall system of households has been reinforced, making the rural roads more spacious, clean and beautiful.
