(Baonghean.vn) - The inspection team of Nghe An province requested Quynh Luu district to rectify the operation of the One-Stop Department, arrange enough civil servants to receive and handle administrative procedures for people in accordance with regulations.
On the afternoon of May 14, the provincial inspection team on compliance with administrative discipline conducted a surprise inspection at the communes of Quynh Nghia, Tien Thuy, Son Hai, Quynh Ngoc and the Reception and Results Department of Quynh Luu district.
Through inspection of some contents on the implementation of working regulations, office culture; and administrative reform in localities of Quynh Luu district, it was found that there is still a situation where some civil servants do not wear badges when performing official duties.
Localities only arrange staff to be on duty at the One-Stop Department to receive and handle administrative procedures for people on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays every week, which is not in accordance with regulations.
The posting of administrative procedures and the system of tables at the One-Stop Shop at the commune and district levels are not complete and timely. Many administrative procedures have been announced by the Provincial People's Committee but have not been publicly posted. In particular, in Quynh Nghia commune, there is still a situation of civil servants being late for work.
In localities, the Inspection Team reminded and requested leaders of Party committees and authorities of communes to focus on directing and correcting working hours, working time, working style of cadres and civil servants; strengthening discipline, administrative discipline, strictly complying with the implementation of cultural regulations in the workplace, public ethics, cadres and civil servants at one-stop-shop departments of communes need to review and publicly post newly issued administrative procedures in accordance with regulations.
The inspection team recommended that Quynh Luu district strengthen leadership and direction for localities and affiliated units to strictly implement discipline, administrative discipline, regulations on office culture, public ethics, and strictly observe working hours.
At the same time, pay attention to investing in facilities at the One-Stop Sections of communes and towns. Quynh Luu District needs to rectify the operation of the One-Stop Sections of communes, arrange civil servants to be on duty at the One-Stop Sections to receive and handle administrative procedures for people in accordance with regulations.
Besides, the district needs to strengthen internal inspection, surprise inspection of communes, towns and specialized departments, improve the quality of service to organizations and citizens.
