Nghe An Bar Association provides free legal aid

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 2-4, Nghe An Provincial Bar Association organized free legal aid activities in Hung Tay and Hung Tan communes (Hung Nguyen) and Dong Vinh ward (Vinh City).

The free legal aid activities of the Bar Association received support from the government and the attention of local people. During this free legal aid campaign, the lawyers in the legal aid group disseminated the basic contents of the laws: Law on Handling of Administrative Violations, Law on Complaints, Law on Denunciations and provided desk consultation for nearly 300 questions related to legal issues in the fields of: criminal, civil, land, marriage and family, civil status, policy law and many other legal issues.

Many people attended the legal aid session.

This is one of the key activities towards the 68th anniversary of Vietnam Lawyers' Traditional Day, and also an activity to bring the law into life, contributing to raising legal awareness among the people, enhancing the position and role of the legal profession in society.

Free legal aid activities will continue until October 10, 2013.
