Nghe An delegation won 7 medals at the national wrestling tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 24, after the final competition at the National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Cup, held in Hue City, the Nghe An delegation won 7 medals.
The National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Cup is held annually to evaluate the training of athletes in localities and sectors. Thereby, selecting and training national team athletes to participate in regional and international competitions.

The 2018 National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Cup was held in Hue City (Thua Thien Hue) with the participation of more than 200 athletes from 18 sports delegations nationwide. The tournament took place from March 15 to 26, with delegations competing for 27 sets of medals in Men's Classical Wrestling and Men's and Women's Freestyle Wrestling.
Participating in the 2018 National Classical and Freestyle Wrestling Cup, Nghe An delegation has 9 athletes (7 men, 2 women), competing in many weight categories.

After nearly a week of exciting competition, Nghe An team won 7 medals, including 1 Silver medal (women's freestyle wrestling, 44 kg weight class) and 6 Bronze medals.
According to Mr. Dang Xuan Nghia - Head of Nghe An Sports Delegation, compared to last year's tournament, although they did not win a gold medal, Nghe An delegation has made significant progress.
