(Baonghean.vn) - Buddhist delegation of Ha Dong district - Hanoi city made a pilgrimage to give gifts to war veterans and youth volunteers in difficult circumstances in Nam Dan district.

The delegation gave gifts to war veterans and former youth volunteers in Nam Dan.

The delegation directly presented 90 gifts worth 80 million VND to 90 wounded and sick soldiers who were war veterans, former youth volunteers who participated in the resistance war against France and the US, and some Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances in the area. In addition, the delegation also supported the district's "For the Poor" fund, the "For Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims" fund, and the "Comradely Love" fund of the Nam Dan District War Veterans Association.

It is known that the Buddhist Lay Association of Ha Dong District - Hanoi City is a humanitarian and charitable organization. 50% of its members are war veterans and former Youth Volunteers who participated in combat, served in combat, and devoted their blood and youth to the cause of defending the Fatherland in the two long resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism.
