Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security handed over charity houses in Que Phong

(Baonghean.vn) - Practically celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security tradition day and the 10th anniversary of the National Security Protection Day, on the morning of August 9, the Youth Union of Emulation Group No. 5 of the Ministry of Public Security organized the handover of a charity house to the family of comrade Lu Van Thong, Que Phong District Police.

Attending the event were Major Dinh Van Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Public Security. Also attending were representatives of the provincial police of emulation cluster No. 5, the Provincial Youth Union, representatives of BIDV Bank, Nghe An branch, the government and people of Na Nhang village, Tien Phong commune.

Promoting the moral of "When drinking water, remember its source, when the leaves are intact, help the torn leaves", in 2015, Nghe An Police together with the police of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces (referred to as emulation cluster No. 5) organized a campaign to mobilize all police youth union members of districts, cities and towns to save and contribute 500 VND/day/member and youth.

The money raised will be used to build charity houses for relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, or families with special policies and those in especially difficult circumstances in the People's Public Security Force. After nearly a year of mobilizing, the provincial public security forces have raised 180 million VND to build 2 charity houses for comrade Lu Van Thong - officer of the Security Team of Que Phong District Public Security and comrade Vi Van Oanh - officer of the Social Security Department, Nghe An Provincial Public Security.

This is a meaningful youth work and project, demonstrating the sympathy and sharing, and team spirit of the youth union members of Emulation Cluster No. 5 - Ministry of Public Security, officers and soldiers of Que Phong district police, and youth of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development - Nghe An Branch./.
