Vinh University delegation exchanged gifts in Que Phong

(Baonghean) -From December 9 to 11, Vinh University's Youth Union coordinated with Hanh Dich Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) to organize a cultural exchange program, giving gifts to families with meritorious services, and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in Que Phong district.

After the VHVN exchange program with the theme: "Border singing" on the occasion of the anniversary of the People's Army on December 22, the delegation presented 60 gifts to poor families in the two border communes of Hanh Dich and Nam Giai, each gift worth 200,000 VND including blankets and clothes. The delegation also presented 40 gifts (each gift worth 100,000 VND) to poor students who have overcome difficulties and studied well at primary and secondary schools in the two communes. At the same time, some clothes, shoes, and sandals (used) were donated to give to some poor households in Nam Giai commune.
