Vu Thi Hang defeated Thailand's Sriprapa 7-0 to win the 48 kg weight class to help the Vietnamese sports delegation win its 22nd gold medal.

Previously, Vu Thi Hang won the right to play in the final match of the women's freestyle wrestling 48kg weight class when she defeated an Indonesian wrestler with a score of 7-0.

At 2:50 p.m., wrestler Can Tat Du brought the 21st gold medal to the Vietnamese delegation when he defeated a Thai wrestler in the final match of the men's freestyle wrestling 74 kg weight class with a score of 7-0 after 1 minute and 2 seconds of competition.

In the swimming event, the men's 200m medley, Tran Duy Khoi won another silver medal for the Vietnamese delegation with a time of 2 minutes 03 seconds 81. Swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien won a silver medal in the women's 400m freestyle when she finished in second place with a time of 4 minutes 14 seconds 23. The Thai swimmer won the gold medal with a time of 4 minutes 16 seconds 06.

In weightlifting, athlete Thach Kim Tuan excellently won the gold medal in weightlifting with a total lift of 285 kg at 1:45 p.m.

This is the 17th gold medal of the Vietnamese sports delegation at the 27th SEA Games.
