Youth Union members in Nghe An join hands to wrap Chung cakes to give to the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - With the desire to bring a more complete Tet to poor families, union members and students of Dien Chau, Con Cuong, and Tuong Duong districts gathered to wrap cakes to give to poor households.
* January 29, at the hall of hamlet 7B,Dien Trung commune (Dien Chau),Dozens of youth union members in green volunteer shirts gathered to wrap banh chung to give to the poor. This is the first year the commune union has organized this activity and has wrapped 300 cakes. These cakes will be given to 150 poor households and students overcoming difficulties in the three communes of Dien Trung, Dien Loc, and Dien Thinh.

Ms. Ho Thi Tham - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dien Trung commune said that the funds for this activity were mobilized by the members from many sources, mainly from philanthropists, mobilizing the people and from the charity car wash fund of the commune's youth union in 2018.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019, Chi Khe youth gave gifts to 16 families with preferential policies and poor households. In addition to banh chung, these disadvantaged families also received gifts including clothes and cash donated by union members and youth.
