Businesses can participate in trade exchanges between Vietnam and Algeria.
In order to promote trade exchange activities between Vietnam and Algeria, the Trade Office of the Embassy of Vietnam and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Béjai city will coordinate to organize a Business Seminar to introduce the potential for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries on December 9, 2016 in Algeria.

Algeria is currently Vietnam's fourth largest export market in Africa. In 2015, our country's export turnover to this market reached 232.72 million USD, with main items including mobile phones and components (104.08 million USD), coffee (69.7 million USD), rice (13 million USD), seafood (9.5 million USD), computers, electronic products and components (5.7 million USD), pepper, cashew nuts, coconut rice, textiles, footwear, etc.
This is an opportunity for both sides to introduce the potential for import and export, investment, labor cooperation and tourism between the two countries.
According to statistics from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in 2016, Vietnam's export turnover to Algeria reached 225 million USD, an increase of 8% over the same period last year.
