Korean enterprises give gifts to teachers and students of Thanh Chuong district

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 9, Korean enterprise TKV Group visited and presented gifts at Thanh Tung Primary School (Thanh Tung Commune, Thanh Chuong District).

Attending the gift-giving ceremony were Mr. Lee Ki Tae - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TKV Company, Mr. Mun Byung Kwan - Chairman of TKV Holdings, Mr. Mun Byung Dong - Project Director of Dosan Machine Company, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Director of the Center for Investment Promotion and Development Consulting of Nghe An province, along with teachers and students of Thanh Tung Primary School.

Thanh Tung Primary School is located in Thanh Tung Commune, Thanh Chuong District, a commune with special economic difficulties. However, local children are famous for their tradition of studiousness and have achieved many high academic achievements.

The school has been recognized as a national standard school since 2010. However, the school's facilities are still lacking and not enough to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the coming period.

Here, the delegation presented desktop computers, laptops, televisions, and desks and chairs with a total value of 100 million VND.

TKV Company donated gifts worth 100 million VND.

Mr. Ngo Van Sy - Principal of the school expressed his gratitude to the leaders of TKV Company. The practical gifts will help the school to supplement equipment in the new library, to teach IT and create conditions for students to participate in English Olympic competitions or online math competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The delegation leaders took souvenir photos with teachers and students of Thanh Tung Primary School.

The Korean business delegation of TKV Group hopes that teachers and students of Thanh Tung Primary School will promote the effectiveness of the computer system, helping to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
