In 2016, there were difficulties in capital for investment in renovation and development of water supply system and high input material prices. Especially from June 1, 2016, the cost of raw water source and the cost of connecting to develop customers, replacing free meters were very large...

However, Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company has boldly innovated its operations, focusing on water supply production, product collection and cashiering. The company regularly inspects, monitors and takes measures to protect raw water sources at water intake locations of treatment stations. Strengthening the inspection of water quality, water after treatment at the factory and water after treatment at households, on that basis, there are appropriate treatment solutions to improve water quality, ensuring that it meets clean water standards according to QCVN01/BYT - 2009 of the Ministry of Health. Water supply production activities ensure continuous water supply time for customers. Renovating factories, repairing and promptly fixing problems arising from machinery and equipment systems to ensure the best conditions for production and clean water supply. At branches and units, meter reading has been organized on schedule and at the prescribed time. Check and monitor the loss rate of total meters in residential areas. Applying information technology to customer management, the company is successfully applying software for customer management, inspection, installation, repair, material management...

The company has managed the pipeline network system according to the network hierarchy of level 1, level 2, level 3; the pipeline network system has been well managed, incidents on the pipeline network system have been promptly handled. Continue to renovate and replace old and degraded water supply pipelines, promptly handle pipelines that cause water loss and pollution with 35 projects.

The company has completed the design and plan for network separation in Vinh City; Vinh City Suburban Water Supply Enterprise and Western Urban Water Supply Enterprise. In 2016, the company focused on investing in expanding the water supply network to key and important areas according to the planning of the Provincial People's Committee, according to the needs and wishes of the people, such as: Installing HDPE D200 pipeline on Pham Hong Thai Street to supply clean water to the Southwest area of ​​Vinh City, Emtecc Korean Industrial Park; installing a water supply system for VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park and Service Complex;...

The company cooperates well with the Department of Construction and Vinh City People's Committee to develop a clean water supply planning project for Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2020 and a project to build a tap water supply system for newly merged communes in Vinh City. Coordinate with units to implement technical support projects such as: Water sector operation cooperation project between Nawasco; ADB and VIE (vitens Evides - Netherlands) on training to prevent water loss; Pure project on supporting the establishment of software for water supply network management and water sector asset management.

With the effort to promptly meet the needs of customers for clean water, in 2016, Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company consumed nearly 22.1 million m3 of clean water and had a total revenue of more than 184 billion VND, contributing more than 8.7 billion VND to the state budget... Caring for the lives and policies for employees is of interest and the average income of each employee reaches 6.2 million VND/month. One of the important events of the company was the successful organization of the first General Meeting of Shareholders on December 30, 2016 to establish Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company. This is a favorable condition for the enterprise to develop effective production and business. Therefore, in 2017, the company is determined to achieve a water consumption output of nearly 23.9 million m3 of clean water, a total revenue of nearly 196 billion VND and fulfill its obligations to pay the state budget, insurance, dividend payments (70% of after-tax profits), ensure and improve the lives of officers and employees in the company...

To achieve the above goal, Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company promotes solutions to reduce non-revenue water, such as: Controlling the flow and pressure of inlet water at the main meters; strengthening management and customer care. Upgrading and renovating old, rotten pipes and separating the network to manage and prevent loss. Upgrading to increase capacity and improve water quality at water treatment plants in the Western Water Supply Enterprise and Hung Vinh, prioritizing the renovation of horizontal settling tank clusters into Lamenla settling tank clusters at Hung Vinh Water Plant.

Develop a loan plan to implement water loss prevention. Improve customer service quality "Towards water users, develop to serve better" to increase the rate of households with water supply, including the goal of safely operating the water supply system, ensuring continuous, stable, safe and quality water supply. Improve the quality of the staff and laborers doing management work by sending managers, technical staff and workers to attend training courses, professional training. Establish a non-revenue water loss reduction department. Implement water bill collection through banks and water bill collection services. Research and apply new technologies (construction, maintenance, operation management, loss reduction, etc.) and new materials and equipment with superior features suitable for the requirements of the water supply system, while gradually synchronizing materials and equipment used throughout the system...

Currently, it is the peak period for customers to use clean water. The company has developed a suitable water supply plan and is repairing and upgrading equipment and machinery, preparing adequate materials, renovating the water supply pipeline system... During the 2017 Lunar New Year, customers' needs for clean water will be met promptly.
