Enterprises receive support for 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers in Dien Chau

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 6, the People's Committee of Dien Chau district coordinated with Hoang Son Construction Company Limited and Hop Tien Company Limited to organize a ceremony to award the decision to care for two heroic Vietnamese mothers for life.

At the ceremony, Hoang Son Construction Company Limited and Hop Tien Company Limited awarded the decision to support two heroic Vietnamese mothers for life: Tran Thi Cot, born in 1914, residing in Yen Quang hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune. She had two children who died in the southern battlefield, Do Trong Thong and Do Trong Thong. Mother Ngo Thi Thiem, born in 1916, hamlet 10, Dien My commune, had two children who died, martyrs Nguyen Xuan Dinh and Nguyen Xuan Dao.

Both mothers are now in poor health. Since October 1, 2016, the two companies have taken care of both mothers for life, supporting them with 1.5 million VND per month and visiting and giving gifts on holidays and when they are sick.

Dien Chau currently has 18 living Vietnamese heroic mothers who are all supported for life by agencies and businesses.
