(Baonghean.vn) -Today (November 19), along with cultural and sports activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20 and the 30th anniversary of Do Luong 3 High School, the School Youth Union organized a clay pot rice cooking contest for the 12th grade Youth Union branches. Many Youth Union members enthusiastically participated and cheered.
Each team has 2 members. To cook rice, the teams must prepare a clay pot, firewood, fire, and water. The rice for cooking is provided by the school. Within 60 minutes, the pot of rice cooked better will win.
Blindfolded, it was very difficult to light a fire to cook rice.
The unique thing about the contest is that the two members participating in cooking rice are blindfolded and the other has their hands tied. The one who can see cannot do it, while the one who does it cannot see. Therefore, the one with their hands tied will guide the blindfolded one. To be able to wash rice, light the stove, and cook rice, all members must have skillful coordination. With the feeling of the hands and the guidance of teammates, each step of cooking rice is very difficult, creating surprise and excitement for the viewers. The laughter and applause of the audience bring excitement and joy to the contest.
In particular, the boys also participated enthusiastically and excitedly in the competition. Most of the teams completed their competition before the scheduled time.

The competition brought joyful and relaxing moments, creating a healthy playground for the Youth Union members. Especially for the 12th grade Union members who are about to graduate, this is a beautiful memory of their student years. Mr. Thai Doan An - Secretary of the School Youth Union shared: "The School Youth Union has planned very carefully and meticulously. At the end of the competition, the pots of rice of the teams will be used to make fried rice for teachers in the school to enjoy on the occasion of November 20, both avoiding waste and warming the teacher-student relationship."
The organizers score the quality of each pot of rice.
