(Baonghean) -Team 3 - Traffic Police (CSGT) of Nghe An Provincial Police has made many efforts to reduce traffic accidents and ensure traffic order and safety (ATGT) in the area under their responsibility.
The Team's mission is to patrol, control, and handle violations to ensure traffic order and safety on Ho Chi Minh Highway, through Nghia Dan, Tan Ky, Anh Son, and Thanh Chuong districts of Nghe An province.
In the first quarter of 2011, despite difficulties, the officers and soldiers of the entire Team organized 308 patrols, recorded 792 cases, punished 886 violations, and collected 416 million 265 thousand VND to the state treasury. At the same time, they fought, discovered and arrested 6 cases including 5 violators, confiscated 13 kg of firecrackers, 3 kg of explosives, and 13.25 grams of heroin.

In particular, implementing the telegram No. 07 dated March 16, 2011 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on launching a peak period to focus on handling violations caused by motorbike and scooter users violating traffic safety laws, encroaching on the roadside and corridors on the route, officers and soldiers of Team 3 have increased their adherence to the road, adherence to the route 24/24 hours, coordinated with the police forces of the districts where the Ho Chi Minh road passes through to propagate relevant laws on traffic safety and promptly handle violations, handing over the seized evidence to the local police for quick and legal handling.
In the first quarter of 2011, there were only 2 traffic accidents on the entire route passing through the area, a decrease compared to the same period in 2010. All 3 criteria: number of violations, number of deaths, number of injuries have decreased positively.
