Expected lineup for Euro 2016 final: Portugal vs France
In the final match of EURO 2016, fortunately both Portugal and France had their best players.
UEFA's decision to remove suspensions after the semi-final has helped teams avoid the risk of missing stars due to suspension. If anything, the only concern is injuries to key players. However, neither Portugal nor France are without any players.
For Portugal, coach Fernando Santos will likely continue to use the familiar 4-4-2 diamond formation. Center-back Pepe has recovered from injury and is ready to return to the starting lineup to pair with Fonte, pushing veteran Bruno Alves to the bench.
In midfield, William Carvalho could be deployed in place of Danilo, to add more muscle to the midfield. Young talent Renato Sanches, who impressed in the match against Wales, is likely to continue to start, playing as an attacking midfielder for Luis Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo and Griezmann will be the most watched confrontation |
On the opposite side of the pitch, it would not be surprising if coach Didier Deschamps remained loyal to the 4-2-3-1 formation and kept the same formation as in the 2-0 victory over Germany in the semi-finals. Olivier Giroud was the striker, while Antoine Griezmann played as an attacking midfielder right behind. Dimitri Payet and Sissoko will be the two wingers. In the center of midfield, Paul Pogba and Blaise Matuidi continue to be used.
In defense, Umtiti played quite maturely in the semi-final match and will likely continue to be used. The two full-backs are Patrice Evra and Bacary Sagna, while captain Hugo Lloris is the final stopper.
