Southeast Asia All-Stars line-up in top match against Manchester United
The friendly match between Manchester United and the ASEAN All-Stars is not only a match against one of the most famous clubs in the world, but also an opportunity for Southeast Asian football to demonstrate its solidarity, level and aspiration to reach international level through a squad that brings together the best players in the region.
The ASEAN All-Stars squad for the international friendly against Manchester United has been completed with 17 names from many football backgrounds in the region. The match, scheduled to take place on May 28 in Malaysia, is expected to be a regional performance where Southeast Asian players will show their class and aspiration to reach the world level.
The ASEAN All-Stars list brings together outstanding players from the 12 member associations of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), selected based on their performance, competitive spirit and ability to represent the region. To date, 17 players have been officially announced, representing countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, East Timor and Brunei. Meanwhile, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia have yet to finalize their representative lists.

Do Duy Manh said: "Being selected for the ASEAN All-Stars squad is a great pride and honor, especially when Vietnam only has 3 players participating. This will definitely be a memorable memory in my career. I am both nervous and proud, but also understand that this is not only a personal honor, but also a responsibility to contribute to bringing Southeast Asian football out of the lowland label."
He also emphasized that, through this match, international fans will have a more positive view of regional football, and at the same time see human values alongside professional factors.

The special feature of the match lies in the appearance of coach Kim Sang-sik, who is leading the Vietnamese team as the head coach of the ASEAN All-Stars. This is the first time a coach from Vietnam has been given such a great responsibility, demonstrating the trust of the AFF as well as the rising position of Vietnamese football in the region.
Kim Sang-sik is known for his disciplined coaching style, clear tactics and ability to build a well-organized squad.
