Tan Ky district is considered one of the bright spots in oral propaganda work. That is propaganda through conferences to deploy resolutions, directives, and local tasks; through meetings and consultations of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations, through monthly periodic conferences of reporters.

In addition, in Tan Ky, through the promulgation and strict implementation of regulations and rules on staying close to the grassroots and the regime of attending regular meetings with Party cells of Party committee members at all levels, this team also simultaneously carries out the task of propagating and directly guiding Party members and people on many issues that are raised by objective circumstances. Party committees and branches under the District Party Committee maintain ideological activities on the first day of every month. At this forum, all military - civilian - government cadres of the commune and hamlet are informed by Party committee reporters of current events and many general policies of the Party and State; propaganda contents and orientations received at the district reporters' conference; selected contents in the province's internal announcement, the district's internal newsletter and even the directives of the local Party committee.

Similarly, at the hamlet level, the 3rd of every month is the Party meeting day, many policies and orientations at all levels are also communicated to Party members through the team of Party cell secretaries and the upper-level Party committees attending the meeting. In addition, the activities of clubs of organizations and unions also regularly invite reporters on current information, policies or issues that the district needs to propagate.

Do Luong also maintains the activities of the News Club, which meets once a month with 150 members, which is also an opportunity for the leaders of the Propaganda Department and reporters of the District Party Committee to convey a lot of information and propaganda directions. The team of reporters and propagandists at all levels is regularly strengthened, enthusiastic, dedicated and responsible; this is the core force in oral propaganda work. This contributes to raising awareness, strengthening trust among the people, creating unity within the Party, consensus in society, promoting the completion of political tasks at each level.

Currently, the system of reporters in Nghe An has been built at 3 levels, including provincial, district and grassroots levels; the total number of reporters in the province is 3,075 people; of which, 7 are Central reporters participating in the province; 57 are provincial level; 587 are district level; 2,424 are grassroots reporters in communes, wards, towns, agencies and enterprises.

Be more innovative and proactive

It can be said that, nowadays, with the rapid and strong development of science and technology, the access to diverse and multi-dimensional information has posed a requirement for oral propaganda work. That is, we need to proactively "go" faster, especially on sensitive, complex issues that the public is interested in. However, in reality, this is a weak link at many levels.

It is required that oral propaganda work must be strongly directed towards the grassroots. In addition to propaganda, dialogue should be strengthened and timely answers to concerns and problems of cadres, party members and people should be provided. The content of oral propaganda work does not stop at conveying policies and directions from superiors but also includes propaganda to improve all aspects, making cadres, party members and people understand the negative aspects of the market economy, social evils and negatives in order to both prevent and combat them.
