Innovating leadership methods, successfully implementing the goals of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of June 26, under the chairmanship of Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc, the Provincial Party Committee continued its regular June meeting to give opinions on a number of important issues. Attending the meeting were comrades: Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.



Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Provincial Party Secretary chaired the conference.

The mid-term assessment report on the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress emphasized: After half a term of implementing the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, Nghe An's economy has maintained stability and continued to grow, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction; infrastructure has been invested in, upgraded and expanded. There have been many advances in the cultural fields, the material and spiritual life of the people has gradually improved. National defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured and there have been many positive changes.

However, the report clearly shows that Nghe An is still a poor province, the economic growth rate has not reached the set target and is not sustainable; the economic structure has shifted slowly; crime and drug abuse are still complicated; the lives of a part of the people, especially in remote, isolated and mountainous areas, still face many difficulties. Administrative reform and management capacity have not met the development requirements.

Also at the afternoon meeting, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on the report on the socio-economic development situation in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of the year to submit to the upcoming 9th session of the Provincial People's Council.

After listening to the delegates' opinions and concluding the meeting, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts in the leadership and direction of the Standing Committee in implementing the programs and projects set forth by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. In particular, the province has done a good job in planning and building new rural areas with many creative approaches, IT and TTCN have solved urgent problems, the banking sector has made progress, IT is the leader in the North Central region... However, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee needs to innovate its leadership methods, create a combined strength to successfully implement the goals set forth by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.
