Phu Quoc Prison Memorial.
The historical site of Cay Dua Prison, also known as Phu Quoc Prison, is located in An Thoi Town, Phu Quoc District. This prison was built during the French colonial period and was formerly located in Cay Dua Hamlet, hence its name. Before 1975, Cay Dua Prison was expanded to become the largest prison, known as Phu Quoc Prisoner of War Camp or Phu Quoc Communist Prisoner of War Camp.
The relic site is currently located on the main area of the old prison, with a two-story exhibition house and an outdoor exhibition area with original artifacts that are almost in their original location. Every year, the relic site welcomes more than 10,000 visitors to learn about the vivid history of Phu Quoc and the history of the nation's struggle.
