The subject of fraud of renting space to introduce products was caught in the net.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 5, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency announced that the unit had arrested Truong Thi Nam (born in 1985), residing in Bac Lien hamlet, Dien Kim commune, Dien Chau district, for fraud and property appropriation.

On the same day, Truong Thi Nam used a black WaveS motorbike with license plate 37U1 7194 carrying an induction cooker and enamel pot to the house of Ms. Le Thi Hoa in hamlet 3, Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district. The subject introduced himself as a company employee to introduce the product and discuss with the family about renting 2m2to display the products for 1 million VND per month, for a 12-month rental period. When Mrs. Hoa agreed, Nam left the induction cooker and enamel pot as collateral and borrowed an amount of money from the family twice the actual value of the product set, promising to come back the next day to pay the rent. The intention was that after receiving a large amount of money compared to the value of the product, the subject would leave immediately.

Truong Thi Nam’s fraudulent behavior did not escape the public’s attention. The subject was arrested by the police. Through the investigation, Truong Thi Nam confessed that from the beginning of November 2015 until now, the subject had committed 3 similar frauds in Thanh Chuong district and Thanh Hoa province. The 4th case was being carried out in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district when it was discovered and arrested.
The investigation agency is continuing to clarify the case and requests that anyone who has been scammed as above, please go to Nghi Loc District Police to report and receive back the property defrauded by Nam./.
