(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 5, the Nghi Loc District Police Investigation Agency announced that the unit had arrested Truong Thi Nam (born in 1985), residing in Bac Lien hamlet, Dien Kim commune, Dien Chau district, for fraud and property appropriation.

On the same day, Truong Thi Nam used a black WaveS motorbike with license plate 37U1 7194 carrying an induction cooker and enamel pot to the house of Ms. Le Thi Hoa in Hamlet 3, Nghi Hoa Commune, Nghi Loc District. The subject introduced herself as a company employee who was introducing the product and asked the family to rent 2m2to display the products for 1 million VND per month, for a 12-month rental period. When Mrs. Hoa agreed, Nam left the induction cooker and enamel pot as collateral and borrowed an amount of money from the family that was twice the actual value of the product set, promising to come back the next day to pay the rent. The intention was that after receiving a large amount of money compared to the value of the products, the subject would leave immediately.

Truong Thi Nam's fraudulent behavior did not escape the public's attention. The subject was arrested by the police. Through the investigation, Truong Thi Nam confessed that from the beginning of November 2015 until now, the subject had committed 3 such frauds in Thanh Chuong district and Thanh Hoa province. The 4th case was being carried out in Nghi Hoa commune, Nghi Loc district when it was discovered and arrested.
