Vietnam U17 team won big against Shizuaka FC University (Japan)
The Vietnam U17 team had their first practice match during their training camp in Hamamatsu City (Japan). In this match, coach Cristiano Roland's team had a big win against Shizuoka FC University.
October 3 afternoon, Japan time,Vietnam U17 team had the first practice match during the training camp in Hamamatsu city.
Despite unfavorable weather conditions with prolonged heavy rain, the U17 Vietnam players still tried their best to meet the coaching staff's requirements.
The "Blue Army" Shizuoka University FC is also a suitable opponent for the young players in a practice match, at the same time, creating an opportunity for coach Cristiano Roland to test and evaluate the force.

After two rounds, the U17 Vietnam team won 7-0, including a hat-trick by Van Duong (minutes 5, 20 and 31). The remaining 4 goals were scored by Thien Phu (minute 7), Hoang Khanh (minute 43), Duy Dang (minute 83) and Thai Hieu (minute 87).

According to the plan, the Vietnam U17 team will have two more practice matches, against Shizuoka Sangyo FC University on October 16 and against Tokoha FC University on October 9.
On October 10, coach Roland Cristiano and his team will return home to complete final preparations before participating in the 2025 AFC U17 Qualifiers.

In order to create more favorable conditions for the Vietnam U17 Team to compete for a ticket to the continental finals and gain the trust of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), VFF has decided to host the U17 Team's group in the 2025 AFC U17 Qualifiers.
Specifically, the Vietnam U17 team will play the role of host of Group I, taking place at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho) from October 23 to October 27, 2024. Coach Roland Cristiano and his team will welcome U17 Kyrgyzstan (October 23), U17 Myanmar (October 25) and U17 Yemen (October 27)./.
