Vietnam team won convincingly against Malaysia

Given the importance of this match, coach Park Hang-seo sent captain Que Ngoc Hai onto the field right from the start to command the defense. He received the ball from a pass on the right wing, then fired a shot more than 10 meters from the goal, but the ball went over the crossbar, to the regret of the fans.

Possessing many technical players such as Hoang Duc, Tuan Anh, Quang Hai, the Vietnamese team had more ball control time than the opponent. Mr. Park's team played at short range, with beautiful and reasonable one-touch passes. This created many difficulties for Malaysia. To overcome the playing style of the Vietnamese team, coach Tan Cheng Hoe's students did not hesitate to commit fouls from afar. However, the red team still created many opportunities towards the opponent's goal.

The way Vietnamese players play is very diverse, many approaches to the goal are created by our strikers. From passing on the sidelines and then crossing the opponent's goal, to accurate passes into the penalty area. However, the final passes are all unfortunately missed by the red-shirt strikers.

Malaysia chose to defend in large numbers to fend off the attacks of the Vietnamese team. However, under the terrible pressure from the red-shirted strikers, coach Tan Cheng Hoe's students could not stand firm. The goal came for the Vietnamese team in the 30th minute of the match. From a pass back from the left wing by Tuan Anh, Quang Hai entered the penalty area and unleashed a powerful shot that defeated goalkeeper Khairul.

With the momentum, the Vietnamese players continued to put pressure on their opponents. And in the 36th minute, Cong Phuong doubled the gap for the red team. With his signature breakthrough in the middle, Cong Phuong made the Malaysian defenders miss before finishing with a low shot that defeated goalkeeper Khairul.

Overall, in the first half, the Vietnamese players completely dominated their opponents. With superior ball control and a highly unpredictable approach to the goal, Mr. Park's students created many shots on target and along with that, they took the lead with two goals.

In the second half, Vietnam took the initiative to play slower, but the red team's attacks were still extremely dangerous. And in the extra minute of the match, the Vietnam team still scored another goal to set the score at 3-0.

With this victory, the Vietnamese team has affirmed its superiority over its opponents. After two matches, Mr. Park's students have won all matches and have a good mentality to defend the throne in the regional arena.
